It's Time to Sleep, My Love January 6, 2009
Thanks to Eric Metaxas and Nancy Tillman, I am soon to become a superhero of naptimes in the eyes of at least three families. This book, so charmingly written and so beautifully illustrated, will be the primary instrument by which I claim my superhero status, accompanied by a CD to be given each of my "Grands", containing the quiet classical music they have learned to endure at my house when they play with their toys and I play on the keys of my "Grand". A perfect recipe for sleep, I am anticipating, to be followed shortly thereafter by a coronation of "Grandmommy, the Magnificent", who gives her children a few quiet hours of rest each day. Thank you, Eric Metaxas and Nancy Tillman, for making me look good.
Exquisite January 6, 2009
As soon as this book by Eric Metaxas, along with its two sister books also illustrated by Nancy Tillman arrived, I ran around to Walter who runs my local bookstore in London, England. His comment was "Exquisite. There is definitely a market for these books in England". Eric's innate love of his daughter, of life, of God flows through the poetry of his lullaby. Three babies are due in my family this year, and all are going to receive a set of these beautiful books.

This is a beautiful book both in pictures and words. It is very soothing and my six year old daughter loves it.

Nancy Tillman's other book, "On the Night You Were Born" was my favorite to read to my daughter- this new one is just as wonderful. The illustrations are gorgeous andd the story is great to read. Definitely a high quality book. I recommend the set to any new parent.
