5 out of 5 stars Chicco Music 'N Play Table   November 22, 2008
We bought this as a birthday present for our 1-yr old granddaughter (in Seattle) on her 1st birthday. Her mother (our daughter) tells us that this was the perfect present for her daughter and that she loves it a lot. She enjoys the music and dances and sings to it. She also enjoys pulling the legos out.

4 out of 5 stars Don't use the legs   November 8, 2008
This is a great toy--my grandson has played with his for nearly a year now, from age 1 to 2. The tunes on the piano are numerous enough and good enough not to drive adults crazy, even with repetition. The twiddly items were his early favorites for getting gratifying sound result from minimal manipulation. The blocks base makes it a whole new toy. From the outset, we saw that the legs were wobbly and could also easily envision him trying to climb on top, so we never attached them, just left the yellow base on the floor and it's been just fine. (also stores handily under other furniture). As the second birthday approaches, I would advise buying more Chicco blocks, as only a few are included with this toy.Chicco Basket of Shapes

4 out of 5 stars Happy Little One   October 23, 2008
My one year old loves this toy. It is great for pulling himself up and cruising. The sounds are nice and not to loud. The piano section is removeable, which is nice for travel. There are however only a small amount of blocks.

4 out of 5 stars LOTS to do!   June 2, 2006

My 1 year old loves all of the different things to do on this table...and, my 3 year old loves it too! They will both stand at it and play for quite some time. My 3 year old likes the flip side better (the blocks) but I only wish it came with more blocks - or a way to order more. Overall, I think it is made well, plays lots of silly sounds and is fun for babies. Great that it has two sound settings also!

I would recommend it.

5 out of 5 stars Active 9 month old LOVES it!   May 28, 2006

My very active 9 month old son absolutely loves this toy! He's been crawling for about 4 months now, pulling for 3 months and has abandoned most of his toys-except this one. I wanted a toy that he could play with while standing up, that worked on fine and gross motor skills, and wasn't too obnoxious. This fit the bill! The piano is his favorite part and he'll 'dance' to the different songs, (which include John Jacob Jingle-heimer-schmidt, 10 little indians, and more). I really like the fact that the piano can be taken off and brought to grandparents' houses or attached to the stroller.

The lego like pieces don't interest him yet, but he's still pretty young. I'm not concerned about the quantity of the blocks because I don't think they are designed to be used to build castles or anything. Simply stacking and un-stacking things is a challenge for most babies until they are older, and there are plenty for that.

Overall, I am very glad I got this table! It's one of the few toys I can put my son at where I know he'll play for 5-15 minutes without crawling away.
