Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Every company has a signature item, for Camden Rose it is the "Cheery" Rattle. The rattle is sculpted in response to nature and organic forms that blend harmoniously with a soothing sound. The experience of the rattle is primarily tactile. The moving bead and organic textures encourage the development of senses. Each rattle has a specific shape, which is found within the piece of wood. As Michelangelo was quoted to say, "the shape is in the marble I only remove what doesn't belong." The "Cheery" Rattle is crafted from American cherry with a contrasting birch dowel. After the rattles are sanded baby smooth, an non-toxic All-Natural Beeswax Polish is hand applied bringing out the uniqueness of the grain. These natural rattles are perfect for your baby and also perfect for the "green" conscious family.

Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Not really a rattle   January 1, 2009
This is obviously a very nice quality piece, but it isn't a "true" rattle IMO--the wooden ball is solid, and just slides back and forth, making a clacking sound when it hits the edges. I was expecting the ball itself to be a rattle. My 7 month old likes this, and I like that it's MIA and not plastic, but he seems to like his colorful Kringlering better.

3 out of 5 stars Cheery rattle   May 12, 2008
My 6-month old son is only interested in this rattle for about a minute, but I think he's only interested in most things for that long unless they have bells and whistles. I think it's a great toy, though, and he does enjoy teething on it. He may like it more as he gets a little older. I am not sorry I bought it!

5 out of 5 stars Perfect for my little boy   April 5, 2008
I highly recommend, suburb quality and entertainment for my little one. It's nice to have this instead of the typical phthalate infested teether/rattler.

My baby loves this rattle and I can feel good about it because it is natural.

I unique gift for a new baby. I have given several at baby showers and invariably someone asks me about it. Absolutely a favorite with my granddaughters.
