I should have bought 3 more sets December 25, 2008 Hi! It's early Christmas morning and all of our kids and grandkids have long since left for home. The very favorite toy that the kids were able to play with tonight was the stacking set I purchased for our grandson who is 16 months old. His Daddy was showing him how to stack the buckets when the three 2 year old grandchildren and the four year old caught the act and started to play with them, too. It quickly became apparent that I should have bought four more sets for the other grandkids as well - and maybe even one to have a grandma's house. The kids loved stacking the buckets, and then fitting them inside of themselves and figuring out the size differences and what fits and doesn't fit, etc. Very educational for all of them. I'm glad I got at least one set.
Highly recommend November 11, 2007 These were a great purchase for my two year old daughter. We have had them for about 6 months and she still stacks and nests them every day. The finished tower is just over her head. The base bucket has a handle so it is ideal for storage but also fun to play with. My daughter fills it will all sorts of things and just enjoys it as bucket when it is not being stacked. It is an excellent coordination toy. It even stacks great on carpet. Our 6 year old neighbor looks for these every time she comes over to play. She stacks the pieces and calls it a wedding cake.
Must have toy January 12, 2007 My 13 month old and my 3 year old love playing with these buckets. We had some before that had a small lip on them making it somewhat difficult to stack. But stacking these are easy and it makes a huge tower that is fun to knock over.
Buckets Are a Simple Toy That Entertain January 9, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The stacking buckets are a wonderful toy that entertain children from about age 1 to age 5. My grandchildren, ages almost 2, 4 1/2, and 16 months have enjoyed stacking them and knocking them down, putting them inside one another, carrying other toys around in the largest bucket and even wearing them as hats. It is nice to find a toy that has so many uses without having to buy batteries. They are also good for the bathtub, sandbox, etc. I have bought them as gifts, too.
