Good for young kids January 10, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this for my then 3 year old and we really enjoyed it for a couple of years. Now that my child is almost 6 she is out growing it. But it was great for a couple of years.
Is that price right?? December 12, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I got this for my daughter last year for $30 and for that price it's fine - not great. I would not spend more than $30 for it at all. The extruder handle breaks off everytime she uses it and it is difficult to clean up the dried bits. The play-doh storage cups don't hold the containers, so everytime she bumped the table they fell out. However, the legs and table top are sturdy.
No Complaints-My nieces love it!!! October 16, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Despite mixed reviews read before purchasing, I loved playdough & a similar creative table as a kid, so knew what was involved before purchasing. My nieces spend hours at the table, they love the fact it is their "own" kids table, & that it is seemingly too difficult for some of the adults around them to master (their uncle has a problem just touching-!!!-the playdough). Yes, playdough can get into cracks or on the floor, but if you are use to any playdough products, this is the nature of the toy (if you've ever baked w/flour & dough w/a child, it's the same things you will be use to facing). They, their friends, & I, have not had anything break on us (for those users who have or do, perhaps someone-adult or child-is taking out their frustrations on the toy) & have even added additions to the table to add to the enjoyment. The best part of course, is participation w/my nieces in the fun; we especially like making the "fuzzy hair" person be a mascot, where we experiment w/different hairdo's, make miniature foods to "feed" to it, and make animal & space creature "friends" for it. Would more than recommend to those who love being creative & love visiting their childhoods.
Worst Toy Ever January 23, 2006 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
My son received this as a gift and played with it once. Play-doh gets stuck in the cracks, making it difficult to clean. The markers and crayons do not fit in the alotted slots. There are so many other things that are wrong with it. I should have returned it when I had the chance.
