Nice step stool. May 7, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought it for my 2 year old daughters for their bathroom since they like to brush their teeth and play with the water and it looks nice there, durable and perfect height.
Fun way to get in bed! May 22, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
My two year old loves her "big girl bed" but because we needed storage space, we opted for a captain's bed which is quite high! Getting in and out was tough, so this step stool was a good choice for her. It was VERY easy to put together and qutie sturdy! The only drawback for us was that it slid on the hardwood floors (despite the claim of non-skid) we thought through a bunch of solutions and finally chose to get a non skid throw (shag) rug that runs along the side of the bed. She also loves the rug and now enjoys going up and down her "stepping stool" safely!

This stool is what I expected. Seems durable and the right height for getting to the potty and reaching the sink. It was easy to assemble as well. It is, however, a little slippery. It could use some sort of tread/traction/grippy stuff on the bottom and the steps. Otherwise good, and a good value.
Nice, but ASSEMBLY REQUIRED! October 10, 2006 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
Nowhere on the product page do I see any mention of assembly for this item, so I was pretty surprised when it arrived in pieces! There are 7 wooden pieces, plus hardware, and the assembly instructions aren't great. I'm not the handiest gal, but I do ok, and it took me close to 45 minutes. I'm still happy with the item--once assembled it is sturdy and really nice looking, and it did go together without much trouble. I still would have purchased it even if I had known about the assembly, but that information really should be in the product description somewhere!!
Handy little step stool September 6, 2006 Came in a flat box, assembly required, but the instructions were easy and within about 20 minutes (my son was trying to help so it took longer than it should have) it was together. It works everywhere with my son. Works in the bathroom to help brush teeth or sit on the toilet, works in the bedroom to get into bed or to help feed the fish at night. He pulls it into the kitchen to see what is on the counter and help me cook dinner. I've sat on it and I'm not this petite thing. My husband's sat on it and he's a good 215 pounds. The lid on the top step is perfect for placing thomas trains in, but it only shuts if you push it closed. Strudy step stool and light weight as well. Just be careful, with this your toddler will be able to reach new things he/she's never reached before...
