Great way to get kids to count/add November 17, 2008
I bought this for my son (5) last year for his birthday. He LOVES it...he's learning matching, counting, and a little strategy. He even has tried (this year) to teach his younger brother (3) how to play.
Spiderman Yahtzee game for younger kids January 18, 2008

We bought this as a family gift this Christmas and have played it a couple times so far. The rules are a little vague in places and I'm not sure how much the older kids (14 and 9) got out of it but our 6 year old had a blast. It also has very little in common with the old yahtzee from our childhood.
I think it will be good for the kids to learn patience and basic sportsmanship skills.
One thing we really liked about it is that it is a quick game to play, 15 or 20 minutes for the entire game.
The character faces are cartoony too not scary at all.
One last thing, it is a 4 player game and I don't think it said that on the box. With a little creative thinking we made it a 5 player. That was a little frustrating but we made it work and the kids didn't mind.
