Product Description Add the magic of Disney to your family fun time! With two complete game DVD's, Scene It? Deluxe Disney 2nd Edition is loaded with new movie clips, trivia questions, and puzzlers from movies like The Incredibles, Cars, Pirates of the Caribbean, and many other Disney and Pixar favorites.
Amazon.com Product Description The popular board game that has players watching video clips and shouting out answers is now available in an upgraded Disney theme. This second edition of Screenlife's Scene It? Disney game is chock full of questions, characters, and clips from both new and classic films from the family-friendly giant. From older films like Alice in Wonderland and The Little Mermaid to new favorites such as The Incredibles and Ratatouille, the game asks questions about unforgettable characters, songs, and scenes. Pop the game's DVD into your player to start the magic and mayhem. Loaded with new clips and puzzles, this updated version touches on elephants that fly to cursed pirates and all things in between. There are over 1,000 questions on the 160 trivia cards, so even if you see the same snippet from the 180 on the DVD during the same game, the question about that scene will be different. Special technology randomizes the order of the clips to ensure fresh fun each time the game is played. The themed, interactive game board can be spread out for longer games, or folded when you don't have a lot of time (or players). To help you move around the board there are four metal player tokens (Nemo, Ariel, Tinkerbell, and Lightning McQueen), one six-sided die to determine how many spaces to move, and one eight-sided die that determines the category to be played. Once the dice have been rolled, clips are watched, questions are asked, and it's revealed just how much you know. Use observation, memory, wordplay, and puzzle-solving to answer various challenges about the imaginative characters, celebrated songs, and timeless storytelling you see on-screen. Categories range from Take Three and Songs to Mousellaneous and more. | | All the components that come with this Disney Scene It? Game. | Not a longtime watcher of Disney and Pixar films? Don't worry. This game is easy enough to learn and fun enough to play even for those who are not overly familiar with the plots. The trivia cards include questions for adults with separate ones for children, and some questions can be answered simply by paying close attention to the movie clips. There are also 30 Buzz cards available to help (or occasionally hinder) your progress. If these reasons aren't enough to tempt you into a game on your own, then co-captain the Black Pearl with a friend or family member and play a few rounds in team mode first. A TV, DVD player, and remote control are needed but not included. The DVD includes an on-screen demonstration of game play. What's in the box - 2 DVDs
- 1 Flextime game board
- 1 six-sided die
- 1 eight-sided category die
- 4 collectible metal player tokens
- 160 trivia cards
- 30 Buzz cards
- 4 reference cards

Shawn Mesa's Review January 6, 2009 Wonderful product! Beautiful tin cannnister provided! Great for all you Disney Trivia fans, from 2 years old on up!
Fun family game!!
Great game - BUT BEWARE of Amazon shipping bait and switch January 2, 2009 We hsve a few other Scene it games but my daughter can never really play them with us. She LOVES this version and is really good at it. Now WE are the one that don't know any of the answers.
Now onto MY RANT about Amazon shipping practices...
The Rock Band order fiasco. I found Rock Band for PS2 in local stores for $150 or more. I decided to check Amazon and was please to see that it was $99. SCORE - and with Prime, I would get it OVERNIGHT for only $3.99 more. I ordered Rock Band on December 27th through Amazon prime. I paid the extra money for the "OVERNIGHT" shipping option so that it would arrive BEFORE New Years Eve (as it was planned for a party). It was scheduled to arrive on Tuesday December 30th (since the order took place over the weekend)which would have left PLENTY of time.
HOWEVER - AMAZON's useless shipping department did not send this package overnight-as I paid for. They instead decided that UPS ground would suffice since it was shipping within the same zone. HERE is the problem with this fraudulent practice - UPS, like any other shipper prioritizes it packages based on actual shipping service purchased. Since this item was a GROUND package, it sat on the truck ALL day and ultimately was returned to the distribution center AFTER 7:00 PM. Also, since it was GROUND, it did not go out for delivery on the following day (12/31) since this was a limited service day for air packages only. AGAIN, if Amazon had shipped it properly, it would have been delivered on 12/31. REMEMBER I PAID for OVERNIGHT service.
I was able to prove this shipping problem was caused by Amazons practice of not properly handling a shipment, based on another order. The second order was also place with Amazon prime on MONDAY 12/29. Since it was not urgent, I opted for the FREE 2nd Day delivery. That package actually shipped via 2nd day air (as expected) and due to class of serivce (air) it was delivered on 12/31 (the holiday). It is now FRIDAY 1/2 and I still have not yet rec'd my Rock Band order. IT WILL BE REFUSED WHENEVER IT IS FINALLY DELIVERED as I bought the exact same product from Walmart on Wednesday morning for the SAME PRICE.
I complained to Amazon about this and the best they would do is refund my shipping and offer me $5.00 off my NEXT purchase. Why would I purchase from them again after this terrible experience.
In summary - BEWARE OF THE SHIPPING Bait and Switch! Use Amazon's site for your research and customer reviews. If you like the item and want to buy it, see if you can get it local for the same deal - if so TAKE IT. Don't trust Amazon's shipping dept. or expect good customer service! If they keep this up - they will go the way of SO MANY companies today and be gone in a heartbeat.
They did it again! December 30, 2008 We have the original Scene It, Disney, and have played it so much we have memorized a lot of the answers. We like this new one because it has questions from more recent movies that my kids have seen, where as with the original there were some movies they hadn't seen because they were from so long ago. We love the concept of this game, and all the Scene it games (we have the Nickolodean one, too), and will continue to add to our collection.
FUN GAME FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY December 29, 2008 My Daughter received the Scene It Deluxe Disney 2nd Edition game and the whole family has played it together several times. It's a really fun game but would be better for older kids (at least 8 years old) who watch a lot of disney shows. Some of the questions are very difficult and my 5 year old Son didn't have a chance. My 7 year old Daughter was doing ok with it but it was still difficult for her as well.
Disney rocks again! December 29, 2008 As a birthday gift for my 11 year old daughter, this was awesome. It is not only a game she can play with her friends, but also a game she and I can play together. We have truly enjoyed the interaction. Very little repeating and the questions are challenging for adults as well as children. I strongly recommend this game as a family event.
