If you want to have a lot of stacking dominos for toppling... this set is great.

The "domino" pieces in this set, although numerous, are too narrow to stand upright easily, compared to real, wood, black dominos. I can't believe the manufacturer could charge so much for what is really about $1 worth of wood, then be so cheap about the quality of the set. Even the "stairs" provided are too narrow, they are actually more narrow than the dominos.
My 3-1/2 year-old AND I were frustrated by the cheapness of this product. It will be in our next garage sale. If we can get $5 for it, we will get some vintage wood dominos on Ebay. Because the IDEA is really good, and fun. I just don't recommend this set.

My 5-year-old son loves to play with this domino set (when he's stuck inside), and he uses quite a bit of imagination to set up elaborate structures. Also, since there are so many pieces and possibilities, he enjoys having his 2-year-old sister play along, too.
