Extra large white tiles make this set so wonderfully satisfying to play with. They are nicknamed the Winter Melon Set due to the tiles similarity to the translucent white nature of large Chinese winter melons! But don't eat these, the tiles are made out of super-durable fiberglass. Each one is etched with crisp, brightly colored designs that are much easier to read than small tiles. It makes a great gift for mahjong players who are looking for tiles that are easy on the eyes or when you want to make an enthusiastic statement by slamming down a hefty tile before revealing your hand! The included decorative wooden wind indicator button is shaped like a giant Chinese coin. Of course big tiles come in a big case. This set has a sturdy aluminum case with red felt covered trays to keep your tiles neat and organized. Be warned, the big tiles mean that this set is heavier than most normal sized sets!
