 The Giraffe was a big hit as a gift December 29, 2008
I purchased this giraffe for my 17 year-old nephew/godson for Christmas, as the giraffe is his favorite animal. It was a huge hit with everyone at Christmas. For a stuffed animal, it's very realistic looking. Even though my nephew is 17, his giraffe is part of his bedroom decor now.
Perfect gift for my granddaughter December 28, 2008
My 4-year old granddaughter is a huge fan of the movie(s) Madagascar and in particular of Melman the giraffe. I got this for a Christmas present and she hasn't spent a momement away from it. The construction and quality are superb. There's a metal "skeleton" that allows you to change the pose. Also, it's sturdy enough for a 4-year old to sit on its back - with supervision, of course. This product has my highest recommendation.

My 3 yr old Granddaughter told me she asked Santa Claus for a giraffe, a big giraffe that she could sit and ride on and watch tv.
So I looked all over in the stores for a giraffe, I didn't really expect to find something like that in my area.
Then I checked on Amazon, looked at different pictures, and this one had a really cute face, the reviews seemed great, the price seemed right, so I decided to order it for my granddaughter.
The delivery was really fast, and I was really amazed when I opened it, just how nice it was...I had the giraffe standing in my living room, til I had to hide it from my granddaughters earlier than expected visit.
Then came my trip to go visit my Granddaughter for Christmas...She got tons of presents. Christmas morning, she came down stairs and seen all the presents and then.... Giraffe was the first thing that caught her attention among all of them....She said, "My giraffe, she's so tall, she's beautiful and she hugged it and said, I Wuv you giraffe....then preceeded to open all her presents over time....after everything was opened- she wanted on the giraffe, which I was really leary of, but she got up there and sat...and it definately withstood her weight....off and on, christmas day and night and the next day she was on and off and pulling and trying to carry this giraffe, knocking it down so she could lay beside it...it seems to be able to withstand roughness....We had to take it upstairs at her bedtime, so giraffe could sleep in her room.
I would Definately buy this for a child again, the look on her face was worth millions. This toy even out beat the expensive Barbie Jeep that she also asked Santa for and that her parents bought her....hahahaha

ordered this adorable giraffe for my unborn grandson's baby animal themed nursery. gave it to my daughter at one of her baby showers and all the guests fell in love with it..definately a big hit with my daughter too.

What a neat Giraffe and how accurate it is. I have been looking for the right size and I finally found it-yeah!!! :) It is right by my bed.Really can't wait till my Grandkids comes along,they are going to have fun.
