Pick a card, any card. Quizard the Learning Wizard is an interactive friend who challenges children through fun flash card games. He features three modes of play: Fact, Find and Mind Read. In Fact Mode, kids insert a flash card into Quizard's crystal ball to get great animal facts. In Find Mode, Quizard gives clues to find a certain animal card. When found, kids place the card in his crystal ball and receive animal facts. In Mind Reader Mode, kids play a version of the 20 Questions game with Quizard. Includes a pack of 10 Wild Animal cards that can be stored in the base. Assembly required. Requires 3 "AA" batteries, not included. For use with other Quizard Card Packs, sold separately. My 3 yr.old boy/girl twins received Quizard for their recent birthday, and they absolutely LOVE IT! It is definitely their fave toy! Not only is it fun, but it is also educational. For example, if the mosquito card is inserted, Quizard says, "The mosquito has antennae." "Only female mosquitoes bite." "The mosquito has very good vision." I bought 4 extra card packs off of Amazon the other day. I highly recommend Quizard for 3 yr.olds. Great purchase!

I bought this toy for my 2 year old and he loves it! He learned immediately how to slide the cards in and he is having lots of fun with it.He doesn't push the right button all the time but that is why momma is there for :)

I was pretty excited after reading the reviews and Quizzard looked like a very neat entertaining toy. However, when I received it, I was disappointed by the short demo. While the crystal ball was really cool with its effects, I didn't like that you could answer the questions incorrectly and there was no indication that you were wrong. I'm all for positive reinforcement, but I didn't really like that no distinctions were made at all for wrong vs. right answers. So I opened the toy to see if this was just a limitation of the demo and so I could check out the alternate settings. After several attempts at trying the other functions and using the setting displayed in the demo, I never once saw the crystal ball work during normal play. (only in demo did it do its thing) Very confusing. Maybe I got a dud - but I was definitely not impressed. This is a toy that had alot of potential but just didn't meet my standards for an educational toy.

my 2 & 1/2 year old can't play with Quizard on his own. It is a clever learning toy. The amount of information is limiting but more cards are sold for variety. I think it will be great as he gets older.

I bought this for my 4 and 6 year old grandkids. This was one of if not the best toy they got for Christmas. It's great for teaching and also a lot of fun that keeps them interested in learning. Well worth the bucks and the books that you buy for it aren't extremly over priced.
