 KidKraft Large Pastel Kitchen January 6, 2009
I purchased this kitchen after much searching for my 3yr old daughter for Christmas. She absolutely LOVES it.
Putting it together took about 1 1/2 hrs and several of the pieces were were marred or had edges where the finish/paint was either chipped or incomplete but once put together you did not readily notice any of the imperfections. The directions were easy to follow. It was also missing one of the screws but I was able to subsitute one from my household toolbox. I did contact KidKraft customer service and the returned my phone call after the holidays. They were willing to send me replacement parts but I have already put it together since it was a christmas present.
Overall I am pleased with the item and the experience in dealing with KidKraft and would recommend this item to other parents.
Great little kitchen January 6, 2009
We bought this for our 2 girls for Christmas and it was a hit!!! My husband and I loved the easy assembly. There were alot of pieces but perfectly marked and everything fit together. Would highly recommened this kitchen for the little bakers in your life.
Large and sturdy - and cute too! January 6, 2009
My 8 years old daughter wanted a new kitchen for Christmas, as we had donated her plastic kiddie one. After hours comparing the dimensions and looks of different kitchens (at 8, my daughter is too tall for most of them), we settled on this one, which has everything a play kitchen needs and is made mostly of wood. It's already been getting a lot of use, mostly as part of a new game in which it is the kitchen for a webkinz restaurant run by my almost 10 years old son, who has no problem with the pastel colors. 10+ hours of quiet play in 3 weeks? Priceless!
Durable kitchen January 6, 2009
We got this for Christmas for our 3 year old, and both her and her 5 year old sister really enjoy it. Heavy-duty construction. Took my husband about 2 hours to put together (taking it easy). It was missing 2 screws and a handle. One call to KidKraft and they were in the mail and here pretty quickly. I expect this to last for many years. Highly recommended.
Great kitchen!! January 6, 2009
I purchased this kitchen for my 2&3 year old girls for Christmas. They loved it the second they saw it. They played with it almost nonstop all of Christmas day and have played with it everyday since.
It took my husband a little over an hour to assemble it and he had no problems. We love the cute colors and tons of storage areas. The only thing that I would change is the corners. Since it is wood, it would have been nice if all the corners were rounded on the doors, ect.
I would recommend this kitchen to anyone.
