Great!!! October 3, 2008 I use this CD in my special education class on a daily basis. The movement/song games narrated are easy to follow and the songs are really fun and easy to follow. Highly recommend!!!
fun and educational May 29, 2008 I love this cd. It's best for preschoolers, but my younger daughter loves dancing to it too. It's fun, and it teaches some great academic and language concepts.
great for teaching children October 19, 2007 I have used this "album" for years at my dancing school and at the various preschools. The songs are still as useable today as they were 20 years ago.
Shoot me in the head September 6, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I understand that this music may have sentimental value to those out there that grew up on it, but for those of us that didn't, it's excruciating. My 18 month old son seems to like it and I like the values and lessons that Palmer conveys, so I didn't give this 1 star. Palmer sounds like he is stoned out of his mind and the songs are slow and repetitive. When a kid discovers music that he/she likes, they want to listen over and over and over again. The best children's music should be at least minimally palatable to parents. This is not, unless the parent has a sentimental attachment.
great music for young ones and special ones August 23, 2007 I bought this CD because another teacher said it was good, but that was an understatement. It has a few songs that work great for some of our "special" students and several that are great for pre-school or kindergardeners. My favorate one talks about how faces look when they are mad, glad, sleepy, etc.
