Product Description Babies and parents alike will fall in love with all of HABA's toys from wooden to soft toys these will be the favorite among all and will definaltey be passed down from generation to generation.
HABA is actually one of the oldest toy makers from Germany. Founded in 1938, HABA has continued to put our minds at ease by making high quality toys and games for babies and young children. All of their non toxic wooden and soft toys are used with non-toxic water-based stains and high quality fabrics that are safe for long term playing.
We love the Haba pretend play series because not only are they absolutely adorable they also offer hours of creative pay. All you need is your tea set and your little one will have loads of fun!

tea cakes August 31, 2010 PJ (Omaha, NE) The tea cakes were a big hit with the little girls for their tea parties. They are pretty and very light weight. They were much smaller than I thought they would be but that didn't really matter with how they were being used. I would recommend this product.
Cute enough to eat.... August 29, 2010 J. Eitemiller (Jessup, MD United States) I bought these for my four year old after her grandmother bought her a tea party set, she LOVES them. I'm pretty sure she's never actually seen a real peti four, but she knew they were little cakes and immediately began serving them to her various guests (mostly Polly Pocket and her freinds, they don't eat much). The cakes are really very cute, obviously, they're fabric, no one is going to try to eat one, but they look as close to the real thing as she needs. They seem to be very well made, although I do worry a bit about the little bead on the top of one of them maybe coming off at some point, and I'm not going to let my two year old son play with them, but aside from that, I don't see them falling apart. My daughter enjoys them, they were a little expensive, but I'm glad we got them for her, and you'll probably be happy with them too.
HABA Soft Petit Desert Toys July 19, 2010 ashley (NJ USA) These are so cute! A classy accompaniment for tea parties with little ones! These little cakes are very pretty. My daughter got them 7 months ago at Christmas and they are still used for tea parties almost daily. Some of them do have small adornments stiched on so I would not recommend for babies or toddlers who still put things in their mouths.
Completes any child's tea set May 26, 2010 Irishlawlass 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought these for my niece when I bought her a tea set for her second birthday. I bought a plastic three tier dessert tray to go with the set and added these. They were really cute and her mom likes them too. The one thing I will say is that they are much smaller than they appear. The whole box is probably six inches. But they're neat looking and I love that they're an alternative to plastics. We have the grilling Haba foods and my daughter doesn't put these plush foods in her mouth nearly as often as the plastic stuff (I'm guessing fuzz and cat hair aren't as nice in her mouth as cool, smooth plastic). With all the news stories about the junk in imported kids toys and plastics in general, it's nice to know these plush foods discourage chewing -- at least they do for my daughter. Very cute. Plan to get my daughter a box when she's two and I get her a big girl tea set.

Overall these were pretty good. Not really very realistic looking. Better in picture than in person. However my grand daughter thought they were great so that is the most important review.
